Accounting Periodical Check-up Services (APCS)

What is APCS?
APCS is a review of accounting function to ensure that all transactions (including year-end adjustments) are properly classified, entered, reconciled, and in compliance with applicable laws, codes and regulation(s). Also to ensure that all supporting documents to these transactions are properly maintained and safeguarded.

What is not APCS ?
ACS is not an audit or investigational procedures; therefore, no expression of opinion on financial statements and/or the internal control system or any other matter.

Pre-requisites
To ensure the effectiveness of APCS service, the following need to be available:
1-Minimum accounting system and procedures in place.
2-Minimum internal control procedures
If not available, then I can help you set them up at the rate of $50.00 per hour.

How to start
First- Set an appointment for free consultation session and signing of contract
Second- Agree on a date and time to review you existing systems, procedures and the daily routines of the accounting function. Based on this review, we develop the review plan, and then determine the changes to be made, and then determine the duration of the monthly check-up time.
Third- Meet with you to discuss list of preventive and corrective procedures.
Fourth- Agree on a monthly date and time schedules to perform the check-up and present and discuss the findings.

Fees:
Fees depend on the type of service and the volume of client transactions.

1-Monthly or periodical review fee. Two types of fees apply: system setup and check-up services. The system setup fee is a one-time fee, which starts at $500.00, then the monthly check-up service, which is $50.00 per hour with a minimum of three hours per one visit.
2-Installation, setup and training of accounting software (currently QuickBooks ) are done at a rate of $50.00 per hour or a negotiated lump sum amount
